JOB DESCRIPTION

Test Engineer will have complete ownership of testing of product and constituent building blocks, systems interface and their performance for critical systems like, Billing System, and its peripheral software like OCR developed using Google Visions and AWS Lambda and similar technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and analyze the requirements from the client and read all the documents like BRS and decide what needs to be tested.
• Analyze BRS and get knowledge transfer for CR-change request.
• Document scenarios and test cases for the change request or application (in case of a new application)
• Participating in preparing Test Plans
• Execute manual test cases as required by the project
• Prepare Test Scenarios
• Prepare Test Cases and Test Data for the test cases
• Prepare Test Environment to execute the test cases
• Execute the Test Cases
• Defect Tracking
• Defect reporting and tracking till closure
• Execute automation suite for regression cycles as required.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects
• Give mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
• Prepare Summary Reports
• Compliance of all required documentation
• Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager
• Contribute to Team Review Meetings
• Prepare and maintain test case repositories
• Understand and follow the QA processes at Client site

Education Qualification: B.Tech /B.E or equivalent/MCA/B.SC(CS)/BCA

Location: Bangalore

Required Experience: 3-4years or (MCA/B.SC(CS)/BCA with 2 years of experience in testing)
